Combat Poverty is a statutory organisation responsible
for advising the Irish Government on policies to reduce poverty
in Ireland.
Since 1986 we have played a key
role in influencing anti-poverty policies and in raising public
awareness of the existence and experience of poverty in Ireland.
Combat Poverty continues to work to ensure that eliminating
poverty remains a national priority, and that social and economic
policies are directed at improving the lives of the most vulnerable
in Irish society.
